Data PM DATA Treasury Squad

Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Project Manager to champion the delivery of our strategic data initiative.

This role acts as the primary bridge between business executive leadership, domain

stakeholders, and technical delivery squads. The Data Project Manager will take complete

ownership of a high-profile data platform journey- driving it from its initial architectural blueprint

phase through to large-scale physical implementation, and subsequently leading its strategic

expansion into new business domains across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Lead the complete lifecycle of data platform delivery,
  
  

managing the transition from high-velocity design sprints into multi-month, complex

engineering and implementation phases.

• Stakeholder & Domain Alignment: Partner with business heads, domain owners, and
  
  

executive data leadership to unpack strategic vision, drive use-case prioritization, and

establish organizational buy-in.

• Cross-Functional Squad Leadership: Coordinate and steer a hybrid delivery model,
  
  

ensuring seamless alignment between onsite consulting leadership, client enterprise

architecture teams, and offshore engineering pods.

• Scope & Roadmapping Strategy: Define and lock down MVP boundaries, manage
  
  

critical path dependencies, and author robust implementation roadmaps that translate

architectural design into concrete business value.

• Program Scaling & Expansion: Establish the governance and delivery frameworks
  
  

required to replicate and scale data platform capabilities beyond the initial domain,

driving long-term data monetization across the enterprise.

Required Skills & Experience

• Financial Services Domain Mastery: Deep project management experience within
  
  

Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, or Markets ecosystems, with a strong

familiarity with bank-grade security, data sovereignty, and financial regulatory

landscapes.

• Technical Data Acumen: Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale
  
  

data programs, including modern Cloud Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data

Product architectures (specifically across Azure, Databricks, or Cloudera environments).

• Enterprise-Scale Governance: Strong execution knowledge of data governance
  
  

principles, master data management (MDM), data quality frameworks, and enterprise

data cataloging workflows.

• Strategic Longevity: Demonstrated success in holding multi-phase, long-term
  
  

programs together, navigating the shift from abstract conceptual design to hard physical

software deployment while maintaining velocity and stakeholder trust.
