Data Insights Analyst

Job Overview

The Data Insights Analyst is responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting large volumes of data to provide actionable insights that drive business strategy and decision-making. This role involves collaborating with various teams — including marketing, sales, and operations — to translate complex data into easy-to-understand recommendations. The ideal candidate is data-driven, curious, and adept at using analytical tools to uncover patterns and trends that influence company performance.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Analysis

• Collect, clean, and organize data from various internal and external sources.
• Use advanced analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations across multiple data sets.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for specific projects or initiatives.
• Analyze large data sets to uncover actionable insights that drive improvements in business operations, marketing, and sales.
  
  

• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that highlight key insights and performance trends.
• Use tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio to create visually compelling and easy-to-understand reports for stakeholders.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and non-technical teams in a clear and actionable format.
  
  

• Work closely with marketing, product, and business teams to provide data-backed recommendations that influence strategy.
• Help teams optimize marketing campaigns, product offerings, and customer experience based on data insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business questions and design data models to answer those questions effectively.
  
  

• Continuously monitor data and performance metrics to assess the success of business initiatives.
• Perform ongoing analysis to measure and improve the impact of strategies and actions.
• Propose strategies to improve ROI, customer engagement, and overall business performance.
  
  

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all data systems.
• Assist in implementing data governance standards to ensure data privacy, security, and compliance.
• Support data management processes and help ensure all teams are using accurate and up-to-date data.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
• Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
• Solid understanding of business performance metrics and KPIs.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  
  

• Experience working with large-scale data sets and big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs) and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
• Understanding of A/B testing, multivariate testing, and experiment design.
  
  

• Accuracy and relevance of data insights and recommendations.
• Timeliness and effectiveness of reports and dashboards delivered to teams.
