Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Data Governance Specialist is to support the Data Governance Lead towards realizing Data Governance Lead responsibilities.

• Data management: A strong understanding of data management principles and best practices, including data modelling, data governance, data quality, and data integration.
• Data analysis: The ability to analyse complex data sets, identify data inconsistencies and quality issues, and develop solutions to address them.
• Business acumen: A strong understanding of business needs and requirements, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Communication and collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills, as data Specialists must work closely with business and IT teams to understand their data requirements and ensure that data solutions are aligned with their needs.
• Continuous improvement: A commitment to continuous improvement, including the ability to identify areas for improvement, develop improvement plans, and track progress against established goals and objectives
