Job Description

As a Data Entry Operator, you will be an integral part of our company's data management team, responsible for ensuring that all data records are accurately entered and maintained in our databases. You will work closely with other team members to input, verify, and update information, paying great attention to detail to maintain the highest standards of data integrity. Responsibilities

  • Input accurate data into company databases and computer systems promptly and efficiently.
  • Verify the accuracy of data entries against source documents and correct any discrepancies.
  • Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of regular data reports and summaries as required by management.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors and escalate incomplete documents as necessary.
  • Ensure all data entries are completed within expected deadlines without compromising accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to acquire necessary data for input and verification.
  • Organize and maintain all physical and electronic filing systems effectively.
  • Adhere to data confidentiality and security protocols to protect sensitive information.
  • Develop and implement data integrity and quality control procedures.
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation and safety for all entered information.
  • Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on new data entry software and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar administrative role is required.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy skills for efficient data entry tasks.
  • Strong proficiency in using computers and various data entry software applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify data discrepancies promptly.
  • Basic understanding of databases and data management systems is preferable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for handling multiple responsibilities.
  • High level of data integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers and scanners is advantageous.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
