Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Operator to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter a variety of data into computer systems for storage.
  • Maintain and update database systems and correct any errors found.
  • Compile and sort information to prepare entry into computer system.
  • Verify accuracy of data before it is input and processed.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities.
  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations securely.
  • Respond to information requests and assist in resolving data discrepancies.
  • Ensure data security and confidentiality by adhering to company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Review and enter data updates in the software system at scheduled intervals.
  • Assist in developing solutions to improve data entry processes and efficiency.
  • Maintain logs of activities and completed work for reference and tracking.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training is advantageous.
  • Proven experience as a data entry operator or office clerk is preferred.
  • Fast typing skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and basic technological capabilities.
  • Familiarity with administrative tasks and data entry procedures preferred.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
