Data Director And Manager M F D

As a Director or Manager in Data Strategy & Transformation within the Intelligent Industry practice, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business in the Middle East market and defining our ambition for data-led transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Strategic Data Engagements: Lead and manage large, complex data strategy and transformation projects. Define and deliver comprehensive data strategies, governance frameworks, data operating models, and data & AI products, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction by meeting business needs aligned with strategic objectives.
• Drive Business Growth: Identify, develop, contribute to, and close data opportunities within the Intelligent Industry sector. Cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders at client organizations. Drive business growth in the Middle East region by leading and delivering compelling proposals, presentations, and demos to showcase how we help organizations leverage data as a strategic asset.
• Foster Innovation and Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of data strategy, data & AI solutions and enabling technologies for the Intelligent Industry. Develop thought leadership content to showcase our expertise and insights into data-driven business transformation for the Intelligent Industry. Contribute to the development of new data offerings and solutions for the Intelligent Industry.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data strategy consultants, data governance specialists, and data analysts in the Middle East. Provide strategic guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
• Contribute to Practice Development: Participate in internal initiatives to enhance our data strategy and management capabilities, methodologies, and tools. Contribute to recruitment efforts to attract top talent.
  
  

Education & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in data strategy, business intelligence, analytics, or a related field, with a significant focus on the Intelligent Industry sector.
• 5+ years of experience in a consulting or client-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering data-driven strategy and products to clients.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative or business field such as Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. PhD is a plus.
  
  

Technical & Industry Expertise

• Hands-on experience of shaping and leading teams to deliver data strategies and data & AI products that aligned with the client’s vision, integrated across technology, business functions, and people.
• Familiarity with some of the major data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and AI frameworks
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex data concepts and strategic imperatives to both technical and non-technical C-suite audiences.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of the Intelligent Industry landscape (e.g., Manufacturing, Energy, Utilities, Resources, Automotive).
  
  

Languages & Mobility

• Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
• Existing network of relationships within the Intelligent Industry sector in the Middle East is a significant advantage.
