Role Overview

The Data Analyst will play a key role in building scalable data management processes and systems, organizing and analyzing data to support product development and decision-making. This role involves collecting, cleaning, and processing data from various sources, as well as creating reports and dashboards to track key metrics and provide insights to the business, product and tech teams.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain efficient data pipelines, governance, and quality assurance processes to ensure clean, reliable data across systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and provide insights that can inform product development and commercial decisions.

  • Create reports and dashboards to visualise data and communicate findings to the commercial and product teams and other stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and data quality reports.

  • Collaborate effectively with the product and commercial teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.

  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests from the product and Business teams, providing timely and accurate information.

  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging data analysis techniques and tools.

  • Responsible for writing, testing and maintaining the Python code.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or a similar role, ideally within a product-focused environment.

  • Experience building data management systems and processes.

  • Familiarity with customer analytics and health scoring methodologies is a strong plus.

  • Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and tools, including data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization.

  • Proficiency in data manipulation and querying languages such as SQL.

  • Experience with data visualization and workflow tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, and n8n.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
