About the role The Data Analyst Associate provides the quantitative evidence required to support our advisory mandates for a regional investment group based in Dubai. This role exists to transform raw market and portfolio information into clear, defensible views that inform high-level corporate strategy. By maintaining rigorous data integrity, the associate ensures our principals can advise board members with absolute confidence in the underlying numbers.
About Arabian Private Holdings Arabian Private Holdings was founded on the principle that many critical business problems do not fit the traditional large-firm consulting model. A board facing a succession question or a family group weighing a capital injection does not need a team of twelve associates and a hundred-page methodology deck. They need experienced partners who can sit with a problem, form a rigorous view, and defend it. We take on a limited number of mandates to ensure that every client receives direct attention from the principals who are actually accountable for the outcome. Our work covers corporate strategy, governance, and operating model efficiency for some of the most significant family groups and government entities in the region. We focus on clarity over complexity, operating as a fully remote firm to prioritize the quality of our analysis over traditional office overhead.
What you will do
Collect and clean datasets from diverse sources to support ongoing mandates for our primary investment clients.
Build and maintain financial models that assess the performance of various assets within a holding company portfolio.
Conduct quantitative research on sector trends to help our principals form a view on potential capital injections.
Create clear, accurate data visualizations that simplify complex findings for executive presentations.
Audit internal reports for logical consistency and numerical accuracy before they are shared with client boards.
Monitor key performance indicators for a regional investment group based in Dubai to identify shifts in operating model efficiency.
Draft technical summaries that explain data methodologies in plain English for non-technical stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of governance reports by organizing historical data into structured, accessible formats.
What we are looking for
A strong academic background in a quantitative field such as economics, statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
Proficiency in spreadsheet software and a basic understanding of SQL or programming for data manipulation.
The ability to write clearly and concisely, focusing on factual accuracy rather than decorative language.
Natural curiosity about how large organizations function and a willingness to learn about corporate governance.
High attention to detail, specifically the ability to spot inconsistencies in large datasets or financial statements.
A disciplined approach to working in a fully remote environment, including the ability to manage time effectively.
How we work We operate without the noise of a traditional corporate environment. Our remote model is built on trust and the assumption that our team members are professional enough to manage their own schedules. We value brevity and clarity in all internal communications, preferring a precise five-sentence update over a lengthy meeting. Mentorship at Arabian Private Holdings happens through direct involvement in high-level mandates, where associates work closely with principals to see how complex problems are solved in real time. We do not focus on growth for the sake of growth, but rather on the quality of the advice we provide to the family groups and listed corporations that trust us with their most difficult decisions.
What the role offers
A competitive salary that is attractive for the current market and entry-level seniority.
The flexibility of a permanent, full-time position that is 100 percent remote.
Direct exposure to the decision-making processes of a major regional investment group.
Professional development focused on rigorous analysis and high-level corporate governance.
A working environment that values logical thought and results over administrative tasks.
