About the Role:

We are looking for a Cyber Field Engineer to own the full technical lifecycle of our customers - from initial deployment to ongoing security validation and advisory. This is a hybrid role that combines deployment engineering responsibilities with cyber field expertise, acting as a trusted technical authority for customers and an essential bridge between the field and internal teams.

In this role, you will design and deploy Pentera in complex environments (on-prem and cloud), lead technical deep dives with security teams, guide remediation strategies, and ensure customers achieve rapid time-to-value and long-term success. You will work closely with customers’ SOC, IR, IT, and security engineering teams, while collaborating internally with R&D, Product, Support, Technical Advisors, and Customer Success.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Deployment and Onboarding

  • Lead end-to-end onboarding of new customers, managing the lifecycle from initial architecture design through to full production deployment.
  • Design, deploy, and configure Pentera across diverse on-prem and cloud environments (AWS, Azure), ensuring robust networking, virtualization, authentication, and security controls.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Technical Advisors and Customer Success Managers, to share deployment best practices and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Guide customers through hardware selection, sizing, and procurement to support optimal Pentera deployments.
  • Accelerate time-to-value by ensuring customers reach production quickly, adopting operational best practices for stable and scalable performance.

Cybersecurity and Field Engineering

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor, driving platform adoption and customer satisfaction through consistent, proactive technical guidance and deep expertise in security validation.
  • Lead technical deep dives with customer security teams (SOC, IR, Red/Blue) to analyze findings, attack paths, and misconfigurations based on real-world offensive techniques.
  • Act as the technical voice of the customer, channeling operational insights, feature requirements, and field feedback directly to Product, R&D, and Support teams to drive innovation.
  • Provide ongoing cybersecurity advisory, aligning security validation outcomes with the customer’s specific risk profile and business objectives.
  • Deliver hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex system, network, and security issues within enterprise environments.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel frequently in the Gulf area to meet our customers on-site.
  • Must be already a legal resident of the UAE and hold a valid Emirates ID (valid work visa).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience (SOC, IR, Penetration Testing, Security Engineering, or similar).
  • 3+ years of Linux administration experience (Ubuntu preferred).
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VPNs) and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Proven experience with virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi/vCenter, Hyper-V).
  • Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS and/or Azure).
  • Experience deploying and supporting complex systems in customer environments (on-prem and cloud).
  • Familiarity with offensive security concepts, attack techniques, and common attack frameworks.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, operating systems, virtualization, and security controls.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to varied audiences.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Docker, Ansible, and scripting (Python, Bash; PowerShell an advantage).
  • Cloud and networking certifications (AWS, Azure, CCNA, Network+).
  • Background in Sales Engineering, Field Engineering, or other technical customer-facing roles.
  • Offensive security certifications (OSCP, CRTO, GXPN, etc).
  • Experience with server hardware setup, maintenance, and procurement.
  • Project management experience.
  • Existing high-level security clearance.
