Job Description

As a Customer Service Executive in the Freight & Logistics industry, you are the vital connection between clients and the smooth operations of logistics services. Your primary focus will be ensuring exceptional service delivery by effectively managing customer inquiries, requests, and concerns related to freight transportation and logistics processes. By maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, you will facilitate seamless communication and problem resolution. Your role involves coordinating with various internal departments to ensure timely and accurate logistics solutions. This position requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to managing logistics challenges in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries regarding freight services with prompt and detailed responses.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure efficient service delivery to clients.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients to promote repeat business and satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in freight transport efficiently.
  • Provide customers with accurate tracking information and shipping updates proactively.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and contribute to process enhancements.
  • Assist in managing logistics documentation, including bills of lading and tariffs, accurately.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to address potential client needs and service promotions.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on service performance for management review regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all operations.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to gather feedback on service quality.
  • Facilitate effective communication between customers and logistics partners consistently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in customer service in the logistics sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for success.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with precision.
  • Experience with logistics management software and tracking systems advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in processing information required.
