We connect professionals with opportunities across the region — and we are now building a dedicated vertical for the crypto and Web3 market. To do that properly, we need people who live in this space, not people who study it from the outside.

You know the difference between a protocol that is genuinely growing and one that is manufacturing TVL. You have formed views on market cycles that turned out to be right — and some that turned out to be wrong — and both experiences taught you something. You read on-chain data not as a research exercise but as a natural part of how you think about what is happening in the market.

This role is built for that kind of person.

As Crypto Native Insights Lead at Trendy Career, you will be the companys internal authority on the Web3 market — not based on reports or newsletters, but on your own direct knowledge of the space, supplemented by rigorous ongoing research. You will track where capital is moving, which protocols and companies are genuinely growing in the UAE and GCC, and what that means for the professionals and employers that Trendy Career serves.

Your output will directly shape which companies the platform targets, how services are positioned for Web3 professionals, and where the business should be placing its bets over the next 12 months. This is not a support role. Your intelligence drives strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain a live picture of the Web3 employer landscape in UAE and GCC — which companies are hiring, growing, or contracting, and what their on-chain activity reveals about their actual trajectory

Track on-chain capital flows as a leading indicator of where the talent market is heading — before it shows up in job postings or news coverage

Produce concise, high-signal market briefs for leadership — original analysis grounded in direct knowledge, not recycled from public sources

Assess the credibility and health of potential platform partners and employer clients using on-chain signals: treasury health, protocol activity, token distribution, governance participation

Monitor DeFi, L1/L2, and infrastructure sector trends through the lens of what they mean for professional hiring in the region

Advise on how to position Trendy Careers services for different segments of the Web3 professional market based on where you see the market moving

Stay embedded in the UAE and broader GCC crypto community — events, community channels, direct relationships — and feed ground-level market intelligence back into the business

Requirements

What we are actually looking for:

Someone for whom crypto is a sustained, active part of their financial and professional life — not a career interest, but a practice. You have capital deployed on-chain. You have managed positions through real market conditions. You have developed views on the market that are yours, not borrowed from consensus.

Specifically, you have hands-on experience with at least three of the following from direct participation: DeFi lending and borrowing with real risk exposure, liquidity provision and position management, on-chain governance beyond passive token holding, cross-chain capital deployment, staking or restaking strategies, perpetuals or derivatives trading on decentralised platforms.

You use on-chain analytics tools — Nansen, Dune, Glassnode, Arkham, or equivalent — as genuine research instruments, not occasional references.

Strong analytical thinking and excellent written English. You write clearly, specifically, and without hedging. Your analysis should be something a fund manager or senior protocol founder finds worth reading.

4–5+ years of total professional experience, with crypto and on-chain markets as a central active part of your life for at least 3 years.

Based in Dubai or ready to relocate from anywhere in GCC — Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Riyadh, Bahrain, or Kuwait.

Good to have: Prior research or strategy role at a crypto fund, protocol, or analytics firm. Ability to write Dune queries. Existing relationships in the UAE/GCC crypto investment or protocol community. Track record of published market analysis or research.

What We Offer

Base salary: AED 480,000 – 720,000 per year (approx. USD 131,000 – 196,000)

Performance bonus tied to intelligence quality and Web3 vertical growth

Total annual compensation target: AED 620,000 – 920,000+
