Job Description

As a Credit Analyst, your role involves evaluating the financial strength and overall risk profile of customers to recommend appropriate credit limits. You will conduct comprehensive analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data, assign accurate risk ratings, and prepare clear, actionable credit recommendations. Additionally, you will help maintain a healthy credit portfolio by monitoring market conditions and customer trends, reviewing transactions and payment behaviour, and documenting findings in detailed credit reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and maintain credit limits for new and existing customers in line with company credit policy, business risk appetite, and industry dynamics.
• Conduct financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, cash flow review, and evaluate leverage, liquidity, and overall business stability.
• Perform qualitative assessments, including industry outlook, customer business model, management capability, and past payment behaviour.
• Prepare clear, structured credit reports with risk assessments and recommendations on limits, terms, and mitigation steps.
• Monitor customer risk triggers and economic conditions to identify early warning signals.
• Work closely with AR Collections Team to resolve credit-related issues and support decision-making.
• Contribute to process improvements by identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and helping streamline the credit review workflow.
• Support credit analysis lead and global AR leadership with reporting, portfolio reviews, and daily operational tasks.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• 5 - 7 years of experience in credit analysis or commercial credit risk roles, preferably in a B2B.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; Hands-on knowledge of SAP, High Radius, and D&B
• Strong understanding of credit risk, customer payment behaviour, and factors influencing credit decisions.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and assess customer strength using both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize while managing tight timelines.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder discussions.
• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to support process simplification and efficiency initiatives.
