As CFO of Siemens Mobility, you will have an integrated responsibility for all financial and commercial activities of Siemens Mobility. You will report to the regional CFO of Siemens Mobility and act as the trusted partner of the CEO of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Together with the Country CEO work on local adaptation of SMO strategy and in the achievement of strategic and business objectives.
• Act as an Investors’ Advocate by protecting Assets and driving sustainable Value Creation
• Have the ultimate responsibility for the integrity of books and records, and for an effective Risk Management and Internal Control System.
• Lead financial planning and controlling of the SMO legal entity and coordinate certain support processes, as well as financing, tax and capital management.
• Oversee sophisticated bids, tenders and controlling of sales and service organizations, contract and claim management, controlling of manufacturing operations and logistics, that could entail overseeing or coordinating strategies for areas such as strategic procurement or facilities in the UAE, Oman, and other MEA countries, such as Kuwait and Jordan.
• Drive digitalization to improve cross company processes efficiency.
• Foster an organizational culture of ownership, empowerment, transparency and “speak up”.
  
  

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Strong operational experience in leading a finance function (performance & financial controlling, tax and management accounting) for an international organization – ideally for a regional legal entity.
• BA/BS/Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business or Accounting/Finance.
• Deep knowledge in financial guidelines/standards to ensure accurate accounting, controlling and reporting both in IFRS and local financial guidelines.
• Knowledge of Siemens FRGs, reporting systems/environment.
• ERP and Finance systems knowledge, preferably SAP/Spiridon.
• Speak English fluently, Arabic will be an added value.
• International experience either outside of the home country or in a global corporation is an advantage.
• Deep understanding of support processes e.g. strategic procurement, facilities, order management, logistics, warehousing, tax, etc.
• Proactive, dynamic, decisive & results-oriented approach, collaborative and a great teammate demeanor with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Solid people manager experience and high levels of engagement in an environment of trust, collaboration and communication.
• Capability to challenge the status quo/drive innovative approaches and speak up when vital.
• Knowledge of UAE and Oman regulations
• Have a minimum of 5 years of extensive senior experience in the Middle East within a multinational organization
• You are experienced with all commercial aspects related to sales phase as well as with different business models and commercial project management methodologies.
