Job Description

As a Counter Sales Executive, you will be the face of our company, engaging directly with customers to provide top-tier service and support. This role involves managing sales directly at the counter, assisting customers in purchasing products, answering their queries, and guiding them to select the best products to meet their needs. Your communication skills and knowledge of our offerings are key to ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales growth. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally as they enter the store premises.
  • Provide detailed information about product features and benefits to customers.
  • Assist customers in finding products that best match their needs and preferences.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and efficiently.
  • Facilitate the sales process by accurately handling cash and card transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized counter area to provide a welcoming environment.
  • Keep abreast of all product knowledge, promotions, and organizational updates.
  • Ensure proper stocking and display of merchandise in accordance with store policies.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by management.
  • Coordinate with other team members to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Prepare and submit daily and weekly sales reports to your supervisor.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales training is advantageous.
  • Proven experience as a retail or counter sales executive or relevant role.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Familiarity with inventory procedures and basic computer systems.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with a customer-oriented mindset.
