Cost Control And Planning Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for Cost Control & Planning Engineer who will be responsible to ensure project completion within the approved budget by minimizing cost deviations. Lead project cost control, budgeting, planning, development, monitoring, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and cost-control support across all projects, including variation reporting, milestone monitoring, and customer billing preparation.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets.
• Control total project expenditure; verify invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Review cost estimates and recommend improvements for future budgets and procurement strategies.
• Manage project accounting databases to ensure accuracy, security, and timely updates.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Prepare monthly project forecasts based on ongoing activities and team inputs.
• Generate monthly cost reports to ensure expenditures remain within budget.
• Support accounts receivable during billing cycles; monitor billing status and resolve unbilled items.
• Safeguard company interests when dealing with external parties.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  
  

Years Of Experience

• Minimum 5 years in project cost control and planning.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera preferred.
