About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Corporate Tax Director to join the Finance team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Prepare and review VAT and income tax computations related to tax compliance and reporting.
• Prepare and review tax fixed asset records of the Wynn Al Marjan resort, corporate offices, and supporting affiliates.
• Effectively collaborate with internal departments, both within the UAE and internationally, to gather financial accounting records and serve as a liaison for tax inquiries.
• Prepare and review income tax and VAT returns, estimated payments, extensions, and related workpapers.
• Prepare tax provisions and review income tax disclosures for financial statements.
• Manage the fixed asset depreciation process for tax, including proper capitalization, transfer, disposal of assets, and related reconciliations.
• Review cost segregation studies for appropriate characterization and classification of fixed assets.
• Manage audits by tax authorities and assist with external financial audits.
• Assist in the preparation of forecasting and tax planning computations and analyses.
• Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing reports.
• Prepare proper records and documentation for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements and readiness for tax audits and inspections.
• Lead the identification of processes, systems, and automation solutions that support tax configurations, efficient compliance workflows, and reliable reporting and reconciliations.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent discipline.
• CPA license or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Accounting and/or Tax; Big 4 firm experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with deadlines and reprioritize work assignments as needed.
• Experience working in a high-volume environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
