Our prestigious law firm is seeking a seasoned Permanent Corporate Partner Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel to our corporate clients, assisting them in various business transactions, and representing them in complex legal matters. This role will require a deep understanding of corporate law and the ability to handle a diverse portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in providing strategic legal advice, structuring deals, and negotiating contracts. A book of business is required for this role.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert legal counsel to corporate clients on a wide range of legal and business matters.
2. Structure, negotiate, and close complex business transactions including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic alliances.
3. Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures.
4. Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
5. Conduct legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.
7. Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
8. Stay updated with changes in corporate law and advise clients accordingly.
9. Participate in business development activities to expand the firms client base.

Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be an IL licensed attorney in good standing.
3. Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Corporate Attorney, preferably in a law firm setting.
4. Proven track record of handling complex business transactions.
5. Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal principles.
6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
10. Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive approach.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
