Job Description

A Corporate Event Planner is a crucial role in organizing and executing a variety of corporate events that could range from small internal meetings to large-scale conferences, product launches, and everything in between. The successful candidate will have a knack for planning and logistics, ensuring that every event is executed seamlessly and on budget. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, creative, and can think on their feet to adapt to any changes or challenges that may arise. Working closely with vendors, clients, and internal teams, the Corporate Event Planner will create memorable experiences that align with the company's objectives, enhance client relationships, and elevate brand presence.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of corporate events and meetings.
  • Develop event concepts, themes, and detailed itineraries in accordance with client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for various services.
  • Manage event budgets, forecasting, and reporting to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Oversee the setup, execution, and teardown of events to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to ensure events align with brand guidelines.
  • Source and engage guest speakers, entertainers, and other event participants effectively.
  • Facilitate communication between venue staff, participants, and internal departments.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and refine future events.
  • Coordinate transportation and accommodation for event attendees where necessary.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of industry venues and service providers.
  • Stay informed about trends in event planning and implement best practices accordingly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software tools.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
