The Opportunity
Arup is seeking a Contracts administrator based in our Dubai office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leadership teams on major projects in the Middle East to get our major projects set up for success.In this role you will be responsible for supporting a team of Project & Commercial Directors & Managers in planning and managing projects of different scales. Supporting the tender and delivery teams with tender submissions and project pursuits in the Middle East and associated Focus Markets.
Coordinating with cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams to validate scope (inclusions & exclusions) in Design Service Agreements & Construction Phase Service Contracts. Assisting PD, PM & legal team during claims management process, by compiling factual history of events and contractual entitlement to compensation and leading white paper creation for casefile claim presentation to the Independent Expert. Ability to train up and inculcate interest in junior staff to encourage adoption of commercial and contract administration as a career pathway.
Leading the implementation of Design Quality Management on projects, which includes preparing DQMP, training teams for audits, collecting evidence for audits, writing audit reports and managing NCR’s validation assessment process.
