Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Psychiatrist to join our progressive mental health team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, skilled in evidence-based treatments, and dedicated to improving patients mental health outcomes through a multidisciplinary approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide medication management, psychotherapy, and other psychiatric interventions as appropriate
• Work collaboratively with psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Offer patient and family education to support understanding and engagement in treatment
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to service improvement initiatives
  
  

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Psychiatry
• Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient management
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
• Fluent English communication skills; multilingual skills are advantageous
