Consultant Ophthalmologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our esteemed medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional eye care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of a wide range of ophthalmic conditions. This role requires a commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnostic assessments
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and visual impairments
• Perform advanced ophthalmic surgical procedures such as cataract extraction, glaucoma surgery, and retinal repairs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and follow-up
• Educate patients about eye health and preventive care strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams
• Stay updated with latest clinical guidelines and advances in ophthalmology
  
  

• Medical degree with a specialization in Ophthalmology
• Current valid medical license to practice
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Consultant Ophthalmologist
• Proficient in various ophthalmic surgical procedures
• Strong diagnostic and clinical management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills
