We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant neurosurgeon/cranial to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultations, diagnoses, and treatment services to patients with neurosurgical and cranial conditions.
• Perform various surgical procedures, including brain and spinal surgeries, and coordinate pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with best practices and current guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including other consultants, specialists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
• Continuously review and monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Participate in research and provide leadership in scholarly activities related to neurosurgery/cranial practice.
• Participate in educational activities and clinical training for residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Actively participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• A medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of specialty training in neurosurgery/cranial in the UK, with a valid CCT (certificate of completion of training).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a consultant neurosurgeon/cranial surgeon in a reputable healthcare institution.
• Proficient in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current practices, techniques, and advancements in neurosurgery/the cranial field.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and manage complex cases.
• Understanding of ethical and legal principles related to healthcare practice.
