Consultant Neurologist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Neurologist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and managing neurological disorders, providing expert clinical care for patients with conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and neuropathies.
• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Evaluate patients with headaches, seizures, movement disorders, and other neurological symptoms.
• Interpret neurological investigations, including EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies, as appropriate.
• Manage complex neurological cases and coordinate multidisciplinary patient care.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust management plans as needed.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term care.
• Guide junior medical staff and contribute to clinical quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB in General Medicine or an equivalent qualification, with DM/DNB or equivalent specialization in Neurology.
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Strong expertise in diagnosing and managing complex neurological conditions.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient management skills.
