Consultant Gastroenterologist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and managing digestive system disorders, providing advanced gastroenterology care, and performing relevant diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system.
• Evaluate and treat conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, GERD, peptic ulcers, and liver disorders.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient outcomes.
• Manage complex gastroenterology cases and coordinate care with other specialists.
• Provide consultations for patients with chronic digestive and gastrointestinal conditions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure high standards of patient safety.
• Guide and support junior medical staff where required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB in General Medicine or an equivalent qualification, with DM/DNB or equivalent specialization in Gastroenterology.
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient management skills.
