Consultant Gastroenterologist

We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our leading healthcare team. This role involves delivering expert care to patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions and advancing the practice of gastroenterology through clinical excellence and collaborative teamwork.

The successful candidate will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care. Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with a range of gastrointestinal disorders, providing accurate diagnoses and treatment
• Conduct endoscopic and other advanced gastroenterological procedures safely and effectively
• Devise individualized management plans integrating current best practices
• Educate patients and families regarding gastrointestinal health, disease prevention, and treatment options
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation adhering to professional and regulatory standards
• Engage in clinical research and contribute to academic and quality improvement initiatives
• Support and mentor junior clinicians and healthcare staff
  
  

• Medical degree with completion of residency training in Gastroenterology
• Board certification in Gastroenterology is mandatory
• Current and valid medical license to practice
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in Gastroenterology
• Strong skills in endoscopic and gastroenterological procedures
• Excellent clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
