Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage a wide spectrum of gastroenterological disorders and diseases.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and other relevant procedures.
• Provide detailed consultations and individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for integrated care.
• Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to review complex clinical cases and outcomes.
• Contribute to and participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, providing them with educational guidance.
• Engage in research and development projects to improve clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Maintain patient records in an accurate and up-to-date manner.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
• Provide emergency care in line with hospital protocols and urgency of patient conditions.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in gastroenterology and implement new practices.

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of specialist training.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology and current medical license in practicing state.
• Extensive experience in performing endoscopic and other related procedures.
• Proven track record in managing complex gastrointestinal cases with successful outcomes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with patients and staff.
• Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor junior medical staff effectively.
