The Construction Technology Sales Manager will manage all facets of construction technology sales, including directing activities of all personnel involved in construction technology sales and online sales activity. This role ensures optimal inventory levels of construction technology equipment and the accurate, timely submission of all required documentation.
What You Will Do In This Role
Oversee and drive sales profitability across assigned markets.
Lead, support, and develop the construction technology sales team.
Review and evaluate all sales call reports to ensure quality and effectiveness.
Manage sales forecasting to maintain optimal inventory levels and achieve targeted turnover and profitability.
Develop, implement, and monitor the construction technology marketing strategy and sales projections.
Collaborate with Parts and Service departments to uphold consistent and proper company representation.
Prepare, manage, and monitor departmental budgets; review and approve sales and departmental expenses.
Support the sales team with trade-in evaluations and pricing strategies for new and used inventory.
Conduct annual performance reviews and provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to support continuous employee growth and improvement.
Track and analyze sales representatives’ performance, including territory coverage, gross profit, sales volume, and overall effectiveness.
Travel approximately 25–50% of the time for training, meetings, and support at other company locations.
Our Ideal Candidate
5+ years of sales and/or sales management experience.
Strong knowledge of the construction industry and market dynamics.
Proven experience in inventory control, forecasting, ordering, terms management, and marketing strategy.
Strategic, proactive thinker with the ability to execute tactical plans effectively.
