Job Description

As a Construction Site Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of overseeing and streamlining construction projects to ensure they run smoothly from inception to completion. Your role involves bridging the gap between management and on-site operations, ensuring that project plans are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget. You will coordinate resources, manage work schedules, and liaise with contractors and subcontractors to maintain alignment with project timelines and objectives. Keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills will be essential as you tackle challenges across dynamic construction environments. With your expertise and leadership, you will play a pivotal role in turning architectural visions into tangible, operational structures.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee construction activities at the site to ensure project alignment.
  • Liaise with project managers to communicate updates and address on-site challenges.
  • Schedule and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and milestones.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure adherence to technical specifications and plans.
  • Manage communication between subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the resolution of conflicts or issues arising during site operations.
  • Monitor inventory and ordering of materials to prevent project delays.
  • Prepare daily reports detailing progress, personnel, and material usage on site.
  • Conduct regular site meetings to ensure alignment and address any queries.
  • Track project progress using industry-standard project management tools and software.
  • Provide support in preparing and maintaining documentation for audits and inspections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in construction site coordination or management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools for tracking and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with a range of stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on proactive and strategic solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
