Job Description

The Construction Project Manager is a critical role within our organization, overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion. This position demands a highly-organized and detail-oriented leader who ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. As a Construction Project Manager, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists, manage safety standards, and forecast potential challenges to project timelines and finances. You will also be responsible for maintaining communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure all aspects of the projects align with their expectations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical construction knowledge, leadership capabilities, and strategic thinking to contribute to the success and efficiency of our construction operations.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans and allocate resources effectively.
  • Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations throughout projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction specialists regularly.
  • Develop risk management strategies for potential project challenges and issues.
  • Maintain clear communication channels with clients and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports for stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors and stakeholders efficiently.
  • Oversee the construction crew to ensure optimal performance and adherence to plans.
  • Track project progress and make adjustments to project plans as necessary.
  • Lead project meetings to align all team members on project objectives and updates.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
  • Proficient in project management software tools and construction equipment.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for client and team interactions.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
