Job Description

A Construction Project Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a combination of experience, skill, and leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. They are responsible for coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients, to deliver high-quality construction outcomes. As a Construction Project Manager, you will focus on planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to specific deadlines and within the authorized budget. This position demands excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a variety of construction-related tasks to achieve the project goals effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of project lifecycle management from inception to completion.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and schedules effectively.
  • Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes in every project.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs effectively throughout the project.
  • Conduct project meetings to monitor project progress and address challenges.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with subcontractors and vendors professionally.
  • Review and approve project designs and contractor submissions diligently.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget, scope, and schedule.
  • Facilitate resolution of conflicts among project stakeholders actively and efficiently.
  • Create detailed project plans, reports, and documentation accurately for reference.
  • Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and provide status updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager for at least five years.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently and successfully.
  • Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Certification in PMP or other relevant construction management credentials preferred.
