Job Description

The Construction Manager for project 11N25 will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing various construction projects from inception through completion. This position demands an individual who is adept at coordinating with different levels of professionals including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other construction specialists to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a thorough understanding of the construction process, strong problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail. The Construction Manager will also be responsible for risk management, resource allocation, and maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulations. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement detailed project plans for various construction stages.
  • Coordinate and manage all project activities and construction operations onsite.
  • Ensure projects are completed according to specifications and within timelines.
  • Liaise between stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
  • Carry out risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies where needed.
  • Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality control assessments on project sites.
  • Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior management and clients.
  • Engage in contract negotiations with vendors and manage contract administration.
  • Facilitate resolution of any issues that arise during construction projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction management or related roles.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams effectively.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, processes, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to resolve complex issues.
