Job Description

As a Concierge, you are the face of our establishment, providing an exceptional experience to every guest from the moment they walk through our doors. You are responsible for greeting guests, assisting with inquiries, making reservations, and offering advice on activities and attractions in the area. Your role is to ensure that each guest's stay is as enjoyable and comfortable as possible, providing personalized service with a smile. You will be the go-to resource for guests seeking recommendations or problem-solving, requiring a polished demeanor and excellent communication skills. Your ability to anticipate needs, multitask, and handle a variety of guest situations with grace and efficiency is essential in creating memorable experiences.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel valued and attended to.
  • Provide concise and accurate information about local attractions and services.
  • Assist guests with making reservations for dining, events, or other services.
  • Manage inquiries via telephone, email, and in-person promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate and execute special requests for guests, including arranging transportation.
  • Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized and welcoming at all times.
  • Resolve guest complaints efficiently, aiming for a satisfactory resolution for all involved.
  • Track and manage bookings and appointments using hotel systems and software.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and enhance guest experiences.
  • Provide guests with updated information on hotel services, policies, and events.
  • Assist with luggage handling and ensure guest belongings are safely stored.
  • Keep accurate records of guest preferences to personalize future visits.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, with a focus on guest services preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with reservation and point of sale software is advantageous.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
