Compliance Monitoring Auditor - Engineering Emiratisation

Job Purpose

The Compliance Monitoring section ensures Emirates Engineering meets all technical standards through a rigorous Audit Program. We provide independent assessments of airworthiness management, training, manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering activities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

The department proactively establishes and implements audit programs to monitor all technical aspects, identifying potential issues and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Our focus is on maintaining effective documentation and implementation of quality management systems to uphold corporate commitments to regulations, safety policies, and quality standards.

As a Compliance Monitoring Auditor in the Engineering department, you will assure through reviews of regulatory requirements and periodic audits of engineering facilities, engineering functions and inspection standards that airworthiness requirements are achieved as per GCAA, EASA and other National Aviation Authorities regulations.

In This Role, You Will

• To review all GCAA, EASA, and other NAAs regulations to access their effect on Emirates Engineering Approvals in order to assure that regulatory requirements and standards are maintained and to pre-empt any effect on Emirates approvals and aircraft to ensure continuous unaffected operation.
• To review existing Engineering Procedures and any amendments which are necessary due to changes in applicable regulatory requirements, aircraft technical configuration or changes in maintenance activities through development of capabilities. To produce necessary regulatory Manuals (Expositions, Compliance Manuals, Engineering Procedures Manual) for the continuation of regulatory approvals.
• To perform and lead audits, record any non-conformances and recommend corrective measures when necessary of all engineering functions; Engineering Outstations (EK and supporting airlines), Suppliers, Maintenance, Overhaul, Technical Services, Stores and other support sections in order to ensure that the functions are in conformity with GCAA and EASA regulations as specified in the schedules of approvals granted to Emirates Engineering.
• To monitor the quality of work produced by licensed engineers, approved technicians and mechanics meets the requirement of the airline in terms of operational safety.
• To review regulations pertaining to validity of licences, approvals held by engineers and run a system of up-dating each individuals file in view of training and certification enhancement. To recommend the issue of approvals/authorisations to engineers, technicians and third party agencies for the maintenance release of aircraft.
• To assist the Manager Compliance Monitoring Engineering by reviewing data in the compliance database for trend analysis. Periodically produce trend analysis and make recommendations to improve compliance and standards within the Maintenance environment, whilst maintaining the highest standards of operation.
• To provide assistance, support and produce reports for all Export C of As, Transfer of Titles, Aircraft Deregistration and Non Incident Statements for the EK Fleet.
  
  

Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or an Aircraft Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship.
• 10+ years of experience working in an aircraft engineering environment, preferably with experience in a compliance monitoring or regulatory environment.
• In-depth knowledge of airworthiness, air legislation and modern quality assurance techniques.
• Aptitude for computer techniques and knowledge of Compliance Monitoring and Safety Management Systems.
