In brief

We are looking for a skilled compliance lawyer to drive a wide range of compliance initiatives, with a strong focus on privacy. You bring the diligence of a compliance professional paired with solid legal expertise and practical, business‑oriented judgment.

In this role, you will work independently with integrity while also thriving in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment. Building strong partnerships with the business and motivating colleagues through clear communication is key to your success. Strong technological proficiency and proven commercial experience are valuable advantages.

What will your job look like?

• Serve as the internal legal focal point for all privacy and data protection matters, guiding stakeholders across Amdocs’ global business areas, including corporate functions, procurement, customer facing teams, product, and R&D.
• Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of Amdocs’ Privacy Compliance Program and related processes. Support commercial engagements by reviewing, drafting, and negotiating data protection agreements, as well as privacy and AI clauses.
• Partner closely with IT, InfoSec, Product, and R&D teams, providing expert guidance on privacy, data protection, and AI related compliance topics.
  
  

• Law degree (LLB, LLM, or JD) and Bar membership
• At least 5 years of legal experience in the legal department of a technology-focused or international company, or in the compliance department of a prominent law firm, with at least 4 years of demonstrated experience in privacy and data protection.
• Deep understanding of international privacy, data protection, and AI legislation, with experience in major frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and emerging AI regulations.
• IAPP privacy certifications (CIPP/E, AIGP, CIPM, CIPT) or other internationally recognized privacy certifications are a plus.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required
