Main Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering & Internal Engagement
Drive Organizational Alignment: Act as the primary Communications Business Partner to General Managers and Global Business Units (GBUs), with a specific focus on Vaccines.
Elevate Employee Experience: Create and execute internal communication strategies that build excitement and foster a connected culture. Connect employees to the patient impact of our products through compelling storytelling.
Digital Channel Excellence: oversee and modernize internal channels (Intranet, Viva Engage, town halls) to ensure effective information flow and high engagement across the affiliate.
Content Strategy: Develop high-quality internal content, including executive speeches, features, and strategic briefing documents that reinforce business priorities.
External Communication & Reputation Management
Media Relations Strategy: Act as the primary media point of contact, building and maintaining robust relationships with top-tier outlets, healthcare journalists, and relevant social media influencers. Manage external PR agencies to create communication tools and effectively manage media interactionsIntegrated Communication Plans: Develop and implement external communication strategies that support brand teams and raise awareness of key therapeutic areas.
Content & Narrative Development: Craft impactful external content, including press releases, fact sheets, and speeches, designed to shape the external narrative and support product milestones.
Digital & Social Impact: Manage Sanofi Gulf’s external digital footprint, driving the content strategy for platforms such as the corporate website, LinkedIn, and Instagram to amplify our voice in the market. Collaborate with social media agencies to create impactful communication tools and execute campaigns.

About You
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, preferably within pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
Track Record: Proven success in both internal and external communications with demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
Regional Expertise: Strong understanding of the Greater Gulf regions media landscape, cultural nuances, and business environment
Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is highly valued
Digital Proficiency: Experience managing digital communication platforms, social media strategies, and content management systems
Project Management: Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple functions and organizational levels
Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of pharmaceutical compliance requirements and regulatory communication protocols
