Job Description

Summary-

As a Commis II, you will assist in the preparation of menu items in a professional kitchen setting. You will work under the guidance of a chef de partie or sous chef to ensure that dishes are prepared according to the established standards.

Job Responsibility-

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for menu items.
• Follow recipes and cooking techniques as instructed by senior kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
• Assist in food storage and stock rotation.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  
  

• Proven experience as a commis or kitchen assistant.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
