A Commis I is responsible for assisting in food preparation and kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of hygiene, quality, and efficiency. The role involves preparing ingredients, cooking assigned dishes under the guidance of senior chefs, and ensuring proper presentation and portion control. A Commis I follows standard recipes, food safety regulations, and cleanliness procedures, assists in stock control, and ensures proper use and care of kitchen equipment. They support smooth kitchen operations, work cooperatively with the culinary team, and adapt to flexible shifts according to business requirements.
