Job Description

Summary-

As a Commis I, you will assist in the preparation and service of food items in one of our kitchens. You will work under the supervision of a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared and served to customers.

Job Responsibility-

• Assist in preparing ingredients for menu items according to standard recipes
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Support the kitchen team in various food preparation tasks
• Ensure all food products are stored, handled, and prepared safely and in accordance with food safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient production of food orders
  
  

• Proven experience working in a kitchen environment
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety regulations
• Ability to work well in a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects if needed
