The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay, a cluster of hotels, is looking for an experienced Commis Chef to join their extraordinary team!

Conveniently located in the heart of Dubai’s Business Bay area, home of the Burj Khalifa! Minutes away from The Dubai mall, renowned Jumeirah Beach, and with convenient access to all of Dubai’s world leading tourist attractions. The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay will include 275 hotel rooms as well as 120 one- and two-bedroom apartments, convenient F&B offerings & meeting and events facilities.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

As a Commis Chef you are responsible to take care of the daily food preparation and duties assigned to meet the set standard and qualities whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as: Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the kitchen. Promotes the desired work culture around the five core values of do the right thing, show we care, aim higher, celebrate difference, work better together of the InterContinental Hotels Group and the brand ethos.

At all times you must be representative of the qualities of delivering Holiday Inn service standards. To provide warm, welcoming service without compromise to all guests.

What We Need From You

It is not just about completing tasks and doing the work! We are looking for personality, originality, creativity, focus and a passion to deliver great results directly and via the whole team!

Previous experience asian cuisine is a must. Fluency in English is a must, additional languages is an added advantage. Communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.

• Similar experience working in either a restaurant or a 4/5* hotel environment
