Commercial Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Commercial & Financial Oversight

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for landscaping projects in UAE.

• Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with budgets and contractual terms.

• Oversee monthly valuations, progress payments, and cost reporting.

• Prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts, ensuring profitability.

2. Contract Management (UAE Focus)

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts in compliance with UAE laws and FIDIC conditions.

• Handle variations, claims, and contractual disputes.

• Liaise with consultants, developers, and contractors to ensure contractual compliance.

3. Procurement & Vendor Coordination

• Work with procurement to source suppliers and subcontractors within UAE.

• Ensure alignment with project specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.

• Negotiate commercial terms with vendors to ensure best value.

4. Client & Project Support

• Support project teams with commercial guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Attend client meetings and represent the company on commercial matters.

• Finalize project accounts and ensure proper documentation and close-out.

5. Team Management

• Lead a team of quantity surveyors and contract administrators.

• Provide training and performance feedback to enhance team capability.

• Work with senior management on strategic commercial planning.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the UAE landscaping or construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of local market pricing, contract law, and government regulations.

• Experience working with developers, consultants, and government entities in the UAE.

• Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with municipal projects, master developers, or government landscaping contracts (e.g., Dubai Municipality, RTA, Abu Dhabi Municipality).

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, and ERP systems.

• MRICS, PMP, or equivalent certifications (preferred).
