About The Role
The Commercial Manager fir GCC is responsible for supporting the business team in developing and growing MoneyGram’s key partners within the assigned territory. This role focuses on building, strengthening, and maintaining strategic relationships across a portfolio of key partners.
As the primary point of contact for assigned partners, the Commercial Manager manages day-to-day partnership activities, including onboarding, operational support, pricing management, FX performance monitoring, and issue resolution. This role requires close collaboration with both internal MoneyGram teams and key stakeholders within partner organizations to ensure seamless support, drive business growth, and help partners achieve their strategic and commercial objectives.
What You Will Get To Do
- Manage daily and long-term agent issues and concerns and escalates internally to the relevant department.
- Bring together appropriate resources to resolve issues before they impact transaction volume and revenue.
- Manage day-to-day communications and operations within multiple departments.
- Be accountable for all internal activities and external strategies within the assigned agents.
- Build long-term relationships with assigned agents and ensures daily communication and support is achieved for each assigned agent.
- Identify areas of growth/process enhancement within respective agents.
- Coordinate with the Pricing Team and monitor FX to provide recommendations on pricing adjustments.
- Execute strategies to capitalize on all identified opportunities to maximize customer revenue contribution.
- Maintain up-to-date database to document sales call information, trends, future call objectives, sampling data and overall sales performance. Use all available data and reporting to identify growth opportunities within sales territory.
- Coordinate information to support objectives for each business review.
- Present information that will be pertinent to their needs and/or will support a case to influence business decisions.
- Communicate new business processes or changes to existing processes.
- Participate to internal training programs & meetings on new processes as they impact our business and agents. This includes ongoing individual training to enhance personal skills and career development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need To Be Successfull
Education
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience
- 3-5 years of related Account Management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining customer/client relationships and identifying opportunities to improve business success for both parties.
Essential Skills
- Prior exposure to presenting product/service opportunities to clients/customers.
- First class interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain credible relationships with Agents in person and over the telephone.
- Strong presentation skills – ability to present to prospective Agents in a professional format.
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize own workload and liaison with a geographically dispersed team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills – able to effectively and proactively identify and analyze problems and find appropriate solutions.
- Creative approach in business development.
- Commercial acumen – able to work with key business partners to maximize business capacity for all parties.
- Able to work in a culturally diverse environment and be sensitive to cultural differences.
- Fluent in both written and spoken in local language English. Fluency in French would be highly advantageous.
- Openness to occasional travel for business.
- Computer literate - able to use Microsoft suite of packages.
- Ability to negotiate, influence and partner with internal and external customers.
- Extensive knowledge of account management and customer service strategies.
- Must be highly responsive in meeting agent’s need’s and timelines.
- Display professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrating thorough knowledge of MoneyGram products and services and competitor products and services to further educate business owners and decision makers
- Understanding geographic impact of agent locations.
