Commercial Director

A reputable and well-established Pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting a Commercial Director for their Dubai office, with regular travel across the GCC.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Lead commercial strategy and drive business growth across the GCC region.
• Own commercial P&L performance, including revenue targets, budgeting, forecasting and profitability.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships and revenue streams.
• Lead major commercial negotiations and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
• Analyse market performance and implement strategies to maximise ROI across products, markets and accounts.
• Develop and strengthen brand positioning and commercial presence across the region.
• Lead, coach and develop commercial and sales teams with a focus on sustainable growth and profitability.
• Provide commercial insights and performance updates to executive leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or a related field a must; MBA is preferred.
• Minimum 12 years' senior commercial leadership experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong and recent UAE/GCC market experience is essential.
• Proven experience managing full P&L responsibility across multiple markets.
• Strong understanding of GCC market dynamics, procurement practices and regulatory environments.
• Demonstrated success in developing new revenue streams and delivering measurable commercial results.
• Established GCC business network and strong stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are highly preferred.
