Job Description

A Commercial Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with business clients, aiming to enhance sales and expand the customer base. This role involves understanding client needs, recommending appropriate products or services, and ensuring customer satisfaction to drive ongoing business success. A successful Commercial Account Executive will possess strong interpersonal skills, be highly motivated, and have the ability to work independently while meeting and exceeding sales targets. This position plays a vital role in the growth of the organization by identifying new business opportunities and ensuring a high level of client retention. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new commercial clients.
  • Identify client needs and recommend company products or services to meet those needs.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential business customers.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales agreements effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer queries and concerns promptly.
  • Monitor market conditions to identify new business opportunities and trends.
  • Maintain an updated database of customer information and sales activities.
  • Report on sales activities, opportunities, and market feedback regularly.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain a strong client retention rate.
  • Participate in networking events and other business development activities.
  • Support the implementation of company strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Provide input on product development or improvements based on client needs and market demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Solid understanding of market dynamics, pricing, and competitor activities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office applications is required.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
