Job Description

The Collections Executive is responsible for managing overdue accounts and collecting payments from customers. They communicate with customers to resolve payment issues, negotiate payment plans, and provide support and guidance. Additionally, they update records, generate reports, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate collections.


Responsibilities

  • Contact customers to resolve payment issues and collect overdue amounts.
  • Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers.
  • Provide support and guidance to customers regarding payment options.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update collection status.
  • Generate reports on collections performance and trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and customer service, to resolve collection issues.
  • Stay updated with collection laws and regulations.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in collections or a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in collection software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines.
