CNC Operator (225-801)

A CNC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to perform various tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning. These professionals play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by producing precise parts and components based on detailed engineering designs and specifications. The CNC Operator must have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of machine operations, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and smooth production workflows. Working closely with engineers and other technical staff, CNC Operators ensure that all products meet quality standards and are produced within the required timelines. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to complete specific production tasks.

• Stay updated on new CNC technologies and incorporate them into practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role is required.
• Strong understanding of machine control programs and CAD/CAM technology.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in operations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and engineering documents proficiently.
• Good physical condition, as tasks may involve lifting heavy objects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with technical teams.
