As a CNC Operator, you will be part of a crucial team responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machinery in a precision manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines according to job specifications and blueprints.

• Program CNC machines such as lathes and mills for new operations.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to prevent malfunctions.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize CNC machining processes.
• Monitor machining operations and adjust speeds and feeds as necessary.
• Conduct necessary testing to validate new CNC machining processes.
• Maintain clean and organized workstation, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Document all production processes and machine operation activities accurately.
• Report any mechanical or procedural issues to maintenance staff promptly.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar machining role.
• In-depth knowledge of CNC machinery, tools, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with various CNC control devices and programming software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials if required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
