CNC Operator 02N25

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of machine operations, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in operating various CNC machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, and ensure products meet quality and safety standards. This role is essential in maintaining our company's commitment to excellence in manufacturing and delivering high-quality products to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to company specifications and instructions.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand required machining operations.
• Program CNC machines to achieve desired operational and production outcomes.
• Monitor and inspect completed parts to check quality and dimensions against specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on CNC machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
• Adjust machine settings to improve performance and output quality as needed.
• Work collaboratively with quality assurance teams to resolve any identified production issues.
• Document machine records, operational procedures, and any maintenance actions performed.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on faulty machine parts as required.
• Ensure a safe working environment by following operational safety procedures and regulations.
• Keep work areas clean and organized in compliance with workplace standards and policies.
• Participate in continuous training and development to stay updated on CNC technology advancements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Proficient in understanding and interpreting engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled in operating various CNC machines like lathes, milling, and grinding devices.
• Knowledge of precision measurement tools and how to use them effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve machining issues effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative manufacturing team.
