Responsibilities

• Set up and configure CNC machines according to mechanical instructions.

• Maintain CNC machines, ensuring they are clean and properly serviced.

• Document and record production activities and machine maintenance logs.
• Work with minimal supervision to achieve production targets and deadlines.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
• Train and mentor junior machinists and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
• Proven experience working as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining CNC machinery and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail are essential.
• Capable of maintaining and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with peers.
• Experience with CAD and CAM software is considered an asset.
