Responsibilities

• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, feed, path) for optimal production.
• Inspect and measure finished products against design specifications to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising in the machining process promptly.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep detailed logs for machine servicing.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety policies.
• Document and report malfunction or discrepancies in operation to supervisory staff.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in CNC technologies and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality control to improve production procedures.
• Train junior or new CNC Machine Operators on the procedures and techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar manufacturing role.
• Strong understanding of CNC machine tools and control systems.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and sketches.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance regulations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials if necessary.
