Job Purpose:

The Cluster Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple retail stores within a defined cluster, ensuring strong commercial performance, exceptional customer experience, and effective team leadership. The role supports the Retail Operations Manager and drives consistency, operational excellence, and team development across all stores in the cluster.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing own store plus supporting Store Supervisors to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences
  • Drive store performance, profitability, and operational excellence across the cluster
  • Build strong customer relationships and act as a key point of escalation for issues and queries
  • Deliver world-class service standards, measured through NPS and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate teams, ensuring a positive and high-performing work environment
  • Support recruitment, training, and performance management of store teams
  • Ensure effective stock and cash control in line with company policies
  • Maintain health & safety standards across all stores
  • Collaborate with Head Office and implement company initiatives and directives
  • Monitor financial performance, including gross profit, margins, and cost control



Required Experience, Skills & Qualification:

  • Proven retail management experience, ideally across multiple locations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical thinking
  • Experience in community engagement or networking
  • High level of ownership, integrity, and work ethic
  • Driving license and own car



Desirable Skills:

  • WSET Level 2 (Wine & Spirits) or equivalent product knowledge
  • Experience within premium retail, hospitality, or beverage industry
